[When Lydia shows up on the video, she's sitting in her entertainment room, her dog Prada in a Santa hat is sitting right next to her, obediently looking at the camera and she looks pretty happy. Not kinda-crazy-there's-a-flood-or-something happy, but genuinely so.]

As many of you know, and maybe some of you don't, I've been organizing events for the passengers, so we can all hang out together, get to know each other better. And also relax.

Things have been crazy lately, and it's been a couple of months since the last one. But now, with the holidays, I figured it would be the perfect time for us to have another movie night.

Like promised last time, we'll be watching Star Wars episodes 4, 5 and 6 this Sunday, the 28th.

Everyone interested let me know so I can get a common room set up and make sure we have snacks and everything we need. You can RSVP with me, or leave your name at the sign up sheet I'm leaving in the dining hall until tomorrow night.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Thank you for all the gifts, they were wonderful.

I don't think I have to say that your presence is required, right? Especially yours, Scott. [And yes, this is part of her master plan to see how he's acting around Kira. But also, she knows how much it means to Stiles that he actually watches these movies with him.]

[Her face softens as she starts her message to him. What she wants to talk to him about isn't actually great, but she's hoping she's found a way to say it that she won't hurt his feelings or make him feel bad in any way.]

[Scott's reaction to Kira during the movie marathon was-- subpar, at best, in Lydia's opinion. Well, no, it was actually pretty terribly awkward. She's not sure what exactly is going on with him because while at some points he was definitely looking at her like he wanted to say something, it was pretty obvious he was holding back.

She knows she'll have to give Kira her verdict soon, so she needs to figure things out for sure before she gets her hopes up even more and ends up getting her hurt because she somehow misread something. Which sounds absolutely ridiculous, but she's not going to take chances.

Which is why she sent Scott a message and asked him to come meet her up on the deck.

She's already there, sitting down on one of the chairs with Prada laying down on her lap. It's pretty quiet and she makes a mental note to come up here more often.]

[Well, she knows at least one person who doesn't know what a movie is. Hopefully he does now that she gave him a TV and blu-rays for Christmas. So she's assuming this isn't Souji.]

A movie is like a play, except made with modern technology. So the actors can act it out, it's recorded, and we can watch it whenever we want, however many times we want.

[He's pretty excited about Star Wars with the barge. Granted, Scott's already seen it, but Lydia hasn't. He grins when she messages him and he lifts his hand.]

[She can't help but smile more when she sees that grin on his face. It's really nice to see him so happy.]

Do you wanna come over? I was gonna come see you, but then I found Prada here. I don't know how he'll behave in your room and I don't wanna leave him alone.

[Well. It is polite, yes. But still. He nods immediately and rises to his feet from where he's been sitting at his desk.]

I know there's a reason people always say to start with episode 4, right? [He's... actually not entirely teasing. He's heard that more than once.

This is also his way of saying yes he'll be there, of course.]

Yep. According to Stiles, something about 1, 2 and 3 being an abomination that should never have existed? [There was a rant about it, but she kinda just let him talk.]

4, 5 and 6 are the original movies. The other three came later, as an origin story from my understanding. Most fans don't seem to like it.

Uh-huh. [He sounds a little unconvinced, but then again, it's not directed at her if it's according to Stiles. Either way,] Got it, though. I guess it's better to start with the originals, then.

[It's not a point Lydia is willing to defend considering she's not an expert. But she trusts Stiles on most things, so she'll go with it.]

[She was kinda mad at you for stealing Scott, Chris. But it's gone now. So she's actually smiling.]

[He grins back, but there's something off about the smile. It's familiar, but it doesn't quite belong to Chris]

[Scott will jump into action for...well, for most people. Lydia calls and he answers, showing up only a few minutes later. HE smells Prada, and smiles as he heads for her chair, reaching out to scratch the dog's head.]

[He's less awkward, less uncomfortable now that he can stretch his legs and, well. Stop watching Kira flirt with Merlin.]

[Lydia smiles up at him, watching him as he plays with Prada as she tries to decide how he's doing now. He does look a little more relaxed, which is definitely good. She doesn't want him uncomfortable around her.]

We haven't talked much since you got back. [Aside from when she found him in his room, but that's not the point of this conversation at all. Allison and Scott are at a whole other level of problematic, but it's not one she thinks she should intervene with until they're ready.]

I didn't even get to hear how your trip went.

[He'll probably be grateful for the intervention, because Scott still doesn't know how to deal with it. Having a beta - it's not just having a beta, it's Allison, and he turned her. He tries not to think of that, focusing instead on more recent conversations and teasing. He smiles a little, and sits down on the floor in front of her, patting his legs in the hopes that Prada will come play with him.]

It was good. Their world is crazy, though - my hands got so sweaty.
