[Lydia is definitely looking a lot better than she was before the port. There's a massive pile of shopping bags on her bed that she still needs to put away, but she has Prada sitting on her lap, looking very pleased with himself.]

For those of you who were worried, we're back! We managed to come back on our own just fine and we just got here a couple of hours ago.

If anyone -- Scott -- is looking for Stiles, he went to his cabin.

[After greeting everyone and taking some time to unpack, she finally sits down on her chair and sends the message she's been dreading. But she knows she has to do it.]

Before the port, I did some things I'm not proud of. I wasn't in the best frame of mind and I think this is a big reason why the Admiral took away my inmate to begin with.

This break from the Barge has given me time to think and hopefully find a better way of dealing with things here, of being a better warden. If anyone would like to ask me questions about anything, or wants to clear things up with me, I'm available.

I won't try to justify the things I did before, but I want to apologize to anyone who might have been hurt or offended by my actions.

Undead that "move on" can never be one with the Light again. It's this or hell. Sometimes I think she'd prefer hell.

[He's getting close to revealing something Sylvanas wouldn't want him to, something that can never be turned outward and used as a weapon.]

[Lydia knows he means Sylvanas, but she wouldn't mention it. She knows she hates her. And she doesn't really care either way. But she'll take any information he's willing to offer.]

As long as you're still around, there's always something you can do. There has to be.

[That's definitely unexpected to say the least. But she did offer.]

What is it?

Sylvanas. Her power-set makes things much easier on her, and she doesn't have a warden any more to ask.

[Sylvanas. He wants her to give Sylvanas' powers back. After she helped him try to destroy the Barge. On top of that, she has zero reason to trust Sylvanas when she ignored her request for help when Lydia first got to the Barge. And when she threatened to rip her boyfriend's heart out last Christmas.

But it doesn't mean she won't listen to the whole request.]

What are her powers, exactly?

Close to yours, I'd think. She screams.

[He thinks? That's far from good enough for her.]

Arthas. You have to know that before I can even consider this, I need to understand exactly what she can do. And I need to understand how having her powers back would even help her.

I can't just-- do it.

[Arthas is frustrated. Dark rangers are so variable...]

Intangible undead have limited sense. Embodied undead have no way to escape if they're attacked and can't heal themselves like the living do - when we get cut, the cut stays open. She's a ghost inhabiting a corpse. She's bound to it, so at the moment she has the downsides of both.

I know that having power would let her escape her body if she needed to, and to vanish into shadows to hide. They'd let her heal herself, at least a little.

I can't promise you anything.

[She can tell he's frustrated, but she still needs a lot more than that. She misses Chromie all of the sudden, maybe she'd know if Arthas is telling the truth.]

Ask Sylvanas to talk to me, explain her powers to me. If they're harmless to others like mine are, we might be able to work something out.

[Damn damn damn. He's not very good at this manipulation thing.]

I doubt she'll agree to that.

[Yeah, Lydia really doubts that, too.]
