[Unlike her last couple of barge-wide communications, Lydia looks serious in this one. If you look close enough, or if you know her a little better, you can tell she's upset.]

Jackson's gone. [The words make her jaw clench, her stomach too. Because she might have moved on romantically, but she cares. She always has and she always will.]

I know he didn't have many friends here, but some of you probably knew him.

[And she feels guilty for not doing more, for not trying harder, for not focusing on him more and helping him every second of free time she had.

With a deep breath, she looks away, then back at the camera, her expression more neutral than before.]

I got him one for Christmas. [She's still super proud of herself for that gift. Even if Stiles ended up liking the more sentimental one she drew him better. That means a lot to her, too.]

I wouldn't mind giving it a try, but-- if we had a zombie attack, I don't think I'd be able to concentrate long enough to use any kind of weapon. [With her banshee powers and all. It'd be super overwhelming.]

I am sure he was over joyed. He seems like one of the fanatical types about it. I much prefer Indiana Jones to it I must admit. [ This man has not seen the Godfather or Batman, but he knows Indiana Jones. And that, is Dante's fault.]

Alright, I see your point. [ he forgot, that slips his mind, since his Banshee love doesn't have that issue. Guess whose still not asked about the powers? This guy.] Do you know how to use a gun at least? I detest the weapons but it might be better if a sword is an unlikely scenario. I know you have powerful friends to lean on, but you must also be able to protect yourself least you make a fatal mistake and hurt those you care about.

He's definitely a fan. [Yep, fanatical is right. It's just really hard for her to not point out to him how many scientific flaws there are in the movies. She rather let him enjoy it.]

Bucky and Stiles taught me a little. I know it's important, I'm just not very comfortable with weapons at all. But I'll learn the basics, at least.
