[022. Do you wanna build a snowman?]

[When Lydia wakes up that morning her bed is much bigger than she's used to. Her room is the same, but different and it's colder than it should be at home.

Once the lights in her room are on, after she takes a peek out the door and doesn't find the rest of her house, she finds the phone there and has an urge to start the video.

She appears on the camera with hair uncharacteristically out of place, and still in her pajamas.]

Mom? Dad?

[Lydia decided to explore the place she's at. It's not grandma's house but she feels safe enough in this place and she knows her friends are out there. So she dresses herself and makes her way around the ship until she finds the deck. And snow!

She'll start with building a snowman.]



(ooc: Lydia is obviously affected. Replies will come from pricessariel. Although she doesn't remember exactly what happened or what the Barge is, she'll know if people she's friends with approach her and will be inclined to trust them.)

[Lydia sees someone staring, she smiles when she realizes how little he is, littler than her.]

[ Little even for his age of six, he had on something he thought was strange, but the demon lady gave it to him to wear. Hearing the girl talk he blushed a bit. Opps.]

What is it? This stuff? [ he asked in a soft voice.]

[She grins and picks up some snow in her gloved hands.]

This? It's snow. You don't have snow?

[ He finally came a little closer, curioisity always gets him in trouble.]

No, not that I have ever seen. Is it dangerous?

[ He asked, curious but weary. He reached out to try and touch some of it either way. making a face at how cold it was.]

No, not really. It's just very cold. But it's fun to play in! It's like cold sand. [At least that's the easiest explanation she can offer him.]

Where are you from?

Italia. [ he spoke with a little grin. That's how he heard his mother say it, that's how he likes to say it.

At her explanation he nodded and knelled to pick some of the snow up. And as she said it was cold but he didn't drop it. Just wiggled his fingers and watches it fall between his fingers some.]

Do you mean Italy? [At least that's what it sounds like, but she can pick up on his accent.]

I'm from California.

I can teach you how to play.

[ Close enough. He smiled finally and nodded, for about a second then he looked confused.]

Where is California? And yes, I want to know this game.

California is in America. [She explains as if that's the most obvious thing in the world.

Then she points at the base of her snowman.]

I'm making a snowman, you have to make three parts like this, one on top of the other, the top ones smaller than the bottom ones.

[ He just blinks a bit and then slowly nods/]

I have never heard of an America. Sorry. [ Then his eyes go to the snowman, nodding some.]

How do you make the parts? Like mud balls? [ Yes, he's hit Dante with a few in his short years.]

[It's weird he hasn't heard of her home, but then he's little, so many he just doesn't know yet.]

Yeah! Like huge mud balls, only snow is better because it doesn't make you gross and dirty.

[ Sadly, it wasn't even discovered yet when he was six. And all he knew of other countries came from his father's stories.

He nodded and kneeled to gather some snow despite lacking gloves trying to start to make a snowball. He liked to try things.]

Mud's not gross. [ Little boy, he likes that kinda stuff.]

[Lydia definitely doesn't like anything that can get you dirty. She shakes her head as she makes a face.]
