[019. Pushing on I can't escape]
[Spam - Open to people who'd come into her cabin]
[The second she steps inside her cabin, she knows something's off. Ever since the blackout, she's been staying at Stiles' or Alison's. She hasn't been back because she knows how much more dangerous Jerry can be in the dark and he has hurt enough people as is.
But she can't quite put her finger on what's happening. Not until she sees it. The words carved on the wall above her bed read Stephen, Mickey. Who's next? And while that's enough to get a rise out of her, it's the object used to make out the question mark that really makes her angry.
Allison's silver arrowhead. The one Lydia picked up from the school grounds the morning after Aiden was killed. The one her best friend made the night of her death. A token she chose to keep as a reminder why she couldn't fail again.
And to see it used in this manner. As Jerry tells her he wants to get Allison demoted, too makes her wanna scream.
Before Lydia can think this through, she gets up on her bed and reaches for the arrowhead, with every intent to pull it off the wall before anyone else can see it. She's not even rationalizing her actions and it's not until she sees the blood running down her hand and arm that she realizes she's cut herself on it.]
[Video - Open but filtered against Jerry]
[It's a couple of hours later until she makes this video and she's keeping her bandaged hand out of the camera's view.
She looks unusually angry, mostly because she feels like switching cabins feels like running, like giving up. And Lydia Martin doesn't give up. But she knows she can't mountain ash her door or sleep over in Stiles' cabin forever.]
If anyone's looking for me, I've changed cabins. I rather not publicly say where I'm staying now but if you need to know, ask and I'll tell you in private.

spam; hope this is okay?
He's passing by Lydia's door when he smells blood. He doesn't keep his senses blocked off most of the time so he's alert instantly - on edge - and he doesn't hesitate before trying to open the door, completely forgetting about the possibility of a mountain ash line.]
Lydia?
spam; of course!
She doesn't hear him coming in, though. She's still standing on her bed, blood dripping from her hand as she stares, teeth clenched, at the wall. She wants him gone, she wants him dead so he can't harm Allison. But that's not an option.
It's not until she hears her name that she notices him. With her uninjured hand, she brushes the tears from her eyes and turns to look at him.]
I'm fine.
spam;
You're getting blood on your bed.
[Plus she's crying and her expression is murderous. And if that wasn't enough, thanks to the werewolf senses, he can clearly smell how angry and upset she is. He's more focused on the fact that she's hurt than anything else but when he gets closer he sees the writing on the wall. That falters him for a moment and his own expression goes dark. The message is as clear the the scent of blood in the air and he's reaching out for her hand with a scowl on his face. God, he wants to kill Jerry himself.]
Forget him. What'd you cut yourself on?
spam;
When Isaac reaches for her hand though, she hesitates before opening it with a wince. The arrowhead is still in her hand, and when she sees it covered in blood, the anger rises even more than before.]
He's going for her. He's going to try and demote her. [And she knows Isaac will be as bothered and angry about this as she is.
spam;
He can try all he wants, it's not gonna happen. We'll stop him.
spam;
But it doesn't work that way and the rational side of her is always too loud to let her forget logic and go with instinct.]
You need to take care of her. Leave him for the others. You can get to her, you can hold her back. You're her tether. Keep her away from him.
