[019. Pushing on I can't escape]
[Spam - Open to people who'd come into her cabin]
[The second she steps inside her cabin, she knows something's off. Ever since the blackout, she's been staying at Stiles' or Alison's. She hasn't been back because she knows how much more dangerous Jerry can be in the dark and he has hurt enough people as is.
But she can't quite put her finger on what's happening. Not until she sees it. The words carved on the wall above her bed read Stephen, Mickey. Who's next? And while that's enough to get a rise out of her, it's the object used to make out the question mark that really makes her angry.
Allison's silver arrowhead. The one Lydia picked up from the school grounds the morning after Aiden was killed. The one her best friend made the night of her death. A token she chose to keep as a reminder why she couldn't fail again.
And to see it used in this manner. As Jerry tells her he wants to get Allison demoted, too makes her wanna scream.
Before Lydia can think this through, she gets up on her bed and reaches for the arrowhead, with every intent to pull it off the wall before anyone else can see it. She's not even rationalizing her actions and it's not until she sees the blood running down her hand and arm that she realizes she's cut herself on it.]
[Video - Open but filtered against Jerry]
[It's a couple of hours later until she makes this video and she's keeping her bandaged hand out of the camera's view.
She looks unusually angry, mostly because she feels like switching cabins feels like running, like giving up. And Lydia Martin doesn't give up. But she knows she can't mountain ash her door or sleep over in Stiles' cabin forever.]
If anyone's looking for me, I've changed cabins. I rather not publicly say where I'm staying now but if you need to know, ask and I'll tell you in private.

[private]
[That's the easy part. She takes a deep breath and tries to look less angry.]
Because of Jerry. [But at least she has a good reason to change the subject.]
It's good to see you back, Kira.
Re: [private]
[Hesitation, and then,]
The other you was scary.
[And other matters,] Jerry. [Kira's face, it turns into something angry and tense and a little scared.] Something needs to be done about him. Something [She almost can't believe what's coming out of her own mouth,] permanent.
[private]
Did she hurt you?
[Lydia frowns. She saw the bite on Allison's neck. Neither of the boys were really forthcoming about details. Was he the one to blame?]
What else happened? What did he do?
[private]
[Kira pauses, for a moment mirroring Lydia's habit of pressing her lips tightly against each other.]
He bit me.
[private]
[Her eyes widen. Did Jerry bite all of them?]
Are you okay?
[private]
[private]
[None of them are okay. How could they possibly be?]
I know, Kira. And I know he deserves whatever happens to him. But my concern isn't for him, it's for you and anyone else who feels the same way. It's what he wants. He wants-- to destroy us. One by one.
Re: [private]
[Does Lydia know about the pain thing? If she does, she'll have an idea of what Kira is talking about.] After that it was just dealing with the blood loss. I got better when I woke up here. [Thank goodness.]
He didn't like the taste of me. Not surprising because I think it was probably like trying to suck the business end of a livewire.
[And she's glad about that. But still, she scowls a little.] So we do nothing, because making harder choices might corrupt us? The Admiral brings inmates on board in the belief they can be rehabilitated, right? I want to know exactly what makes him think that's possible with Jerry. How do you rehabilitate someone completely incapable of feeling empathy and one hundred percent predator?
[private]
You'll have to ask the Admiral about that. [She met the human version of Jerry. She knows he's a good person. But there is no humanity left in this one.]

[Thoughtful.] I wonder if Facilier knows a way to weaken a vampire.
[private]
You think he would?
