[Seeing Lydia smile makes Allison feel all warm inside, like she feels when she holds Mister Bear or when her daddy hugs her when she cries, even when Mommy says only babies cry. She feels almost like she's her Daddy, and Lydia is her when she cries, and that she's hugging Lydia by letting her share her bunny.

But her observation about puppies gives her pause, and with a frown Allison scratches her head. There are a lot of things that confuse her about this new place, and a lot of things she's sure of without really knowing why...
