[Lydia takes a deep breath, she knows they don't see him like she does. She can't really blame them, but she wants them to understand the basics, at least.]

I know most of you never got along with him. Most of you probably hate him and I don't blame you. [But. There's definitely a but.]

The last thing he remembers is dying. Before he turned into a werewolf and came back. He remembers all of us there with him, and Derek and Peter killing him. He doesn't remember coming back.

Scott, he will probably need your help understanding his abilities, even if they are dulled down.
[She looks down, her eyes tearing up slightly.]

And if you haven't guessed, he's an inmate. I don't want to force anyone to help him, but if you think you're just gonna get into an argument with him, or a pissing contest, just avoid him. Please. [That's mostly for you, Stiles. With one more glance at the camera, she cuts the feed.]

[Warden Filter]
[This is the most serious the Barge has seen Lydia. She has a blank expression on her face and her voice is even. Right now she hates the admiral. She hates him for doing this to Jackson, for what he has been doing to Stephen, for bringing Jerry on board.]
Our newest inmate, Jackson who just arrived, he's my ex-boyfriend.

He has a temper [obviously] and he's not easy to handle, so if any of you have issues with him, let me know right away and I'll talk to him. I can handle him.

I'll keep an eye on him, whether he likes it or not.

[He won't. Scott knows. He's going to hate that Scott's an alpha, too. It's not even surprising, and maybe that bodes well for dealing with him. His fingers are crossed, anyway.

Scott hesitates, because there's more he wants to say - like don't do this to Stiles, but she's not really doing anything, is she? They have a connection now, and Scott doesn't even have to see the way Stiles responds to know how he'll be feeling about all this.

But he's pretty sure Lydia will have thought of him, too, so he just sighs.]

[Out of everyone, she trusts Scott to treat Jackson with the least amount of animosity. She knows he is far from a good guy but if he's here, if he needs to get better, getting accused of things, getting judged won't help him get better.

She hesitates just for a second, then switches the feed to private.]

And Scott? Check on Stiles, too. [She's worried, and upset. But she's not ready to explain to him things she herself doesn't really understand yet.]

You know I will.

[Stiles is his brother, he's not going through this alone.]

Lydia, are you gonna be okay?

I know.

[She takes a deep breath at the question and nods.]

Yeah. I just need to help him. [He doesn't deserve this. But she doesn't want to say that in case Scott doesn't agree.]

[To Scott, it's not about deserving it or not. Yeah, the Barge has thrown some terrible things at them, but despite that, he has to believe in it. Because if he falters, he'll never pick himself back up. He needs this place to be good for people, even if the journey is hard. So he nods his understanding.]

We will. We all will.

[One way or another.]

[The we helps her some. She isn't even thinking about the pressure she's adding to Scott right now. She just needs to know at least he will try to help him.

With the hint of a smile, she nods, and disconnects the call.]
