[Lydia has been a little quieter than usual. Between losing Allison again, almost losing Stiles and having to figure out what to do to get Andrew to allow her to help him, she's been keeping busy.

But it's been too long since she's promised the Barge some entertainment and Lydia Martin keeps her promises.

She's in her room, smile on her face as she looks at the camera.]

Hey Barge.

I'm sure most of you remember a few weeks ago I said we were going to start organizing some events for the Barge. Scott is already organizing the Lacrosse practices and we'll have an actual game soon.

But for this Saturday, we're having a movie night! We're using the common room on Level 1, and I suggest everyone brings pillows and sleeping bags if they have them so we can be comfortable. There will be snacks and drinks, of course!

The movies this time, will be Devil Wears Prada and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I'm leaving a list in the Dining Hall so people can RSVP if they want to come and I'll leave details about time and place on there too in case someone missed this announcement.

[Sheriff Al Stilinski was just finishing an argument with his nurse about the morphine he was getting when his phone went off, and a familiar voice came through it. He'd been told that it was allowed in his wing, but when he reached for it and found that Skype had somehow come on, with Lydia's face on the screen...

...he had told the nurse to cut his morphine. It made him way too loopy, and he didn't like it. He had asked for less...he was pretty sure anyway.]

Lydia? Sweetheart, I think you buzzed me instead of Stiles...I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Raiders, but...maybe it's the morphine, but what Barge are you talking about? This...pack stuff?

Sheriff?

[He's in a hospital that looks like Beacon Hills. Not the Infirmary. Oh God, what if she's having visions now? Didn't Stiles say the other banshee they met was able to connect to some kind of Banshee Network? What if something bad is going on back home and it involves Jackson, the Sheriff and Kira?]

Sheriff, I-- don't know how you got this message. What happened? Why are you at the hospital?

[...yeah, that's odd. Al frowns, raising an eyebrow.

He hasn't had his morphine yet. This...can't be the morphine. Maybe it's a banshee thing?...]

I was shot during the incident at the station, remember? Haige tried to kill Parrish...Lydia, honey, are you all right? I mean, is this...is something happening?

[Because Al may throttle his son if he's back to keeping secrets just because he's worried about bills he has no business sticking his nose in...]

Deputy Parrish? Is he okay?

[She doesn't know him personally but she's met him enough times to know who he is. And-- well, he was attacked by the Nogitsune.]

I'm okay. And-- Stiles is too. We're all okay. It's-- there seems to have been a problem with the network. [And she doesn't want to mention the Barge again, because it looks like the Sheriff doesn't know about any of it. And why would he?]

Parrish? Yeah, he's...he's fine, or he was when he got some fresh clothes.

But hang on, hang on. Network?...what, like a wifi problem?...

[That thing you're doing, Lydia? Yeah, it's the opposite of reassuring. Al smells a rat. Maybe a wererat. He doesn't know, nobody ever tells him as much as he'd like...]

[It's weird how guilty she feels when she realizes he's staring at her like he knows she's hiding something. Her own father doesn't have that kind of power over her. But of course, he's not around enough for her to actually respect him as much as she respects the Sheriff.]

No. Not wifi. It's an internal network problem. It seems to be sending out messages to people on the outside. [It's a very vague explanation, and she doesn't think she will get away with it so she covers it up the way she imagines Stiles would.]

Is everyone else okay? At the station, I mean.

Yeah, yeah...everyone's fine, Parrish had a change of clothes in his locker, he checks out, not a scratch on him.

[And the covering? Not working, sweetheart. Al's been spending a little more time around Lydia lately, and aside from genuinely liking her a lot (and seeing what, exactly, Stiles has been so gaga over since the third grade), he's picking up on her tells. She's been pretty forthright with him lately, more or less, so this hedging...

Yup. Rat.]

Sweetheart? You wanna stop beating around the bush and tell me what you mean about 'messages to people on the outside?' Where the hell are you?

It's not another Alpha pack, is it?

[So apparently someone tried to kill Parrish and he survived. She can't help but wonder if this means he's something too. But it's just information she'll store for later.

When the Sheriff asks her so bluntly, she can help but sigh in response. He obviously doesn't need the stress but Lydia doesn't really like lying. Especially to a guy who has been so amazing at helping them and covering up for them.]

No, it's not an Alpha pack. Or a Darach or anything bad, really.

It's not really my place to tell you, I think you'd be better off talking to Stiles about it. But while there are versions of us there with you, continuing our normal lives, there are also versions of us-- in this Barge I mentioned.

[Scott is like. Bouncing up and down on the inside right now.]

It's kind of a....network glitch.

A network--Scott? How'd you...are you guys three way calling me? Kiddo, I'm two seconds away from having your mother paged to find out what the hell I don't know.

[Yet one more reason Al hates being laid up. Nobody tells him shit...]

[He feels like he's swelling up at the mention of his mom, he almost asks can you, please, call her now - but he swallows it, because there are more important things.]

It's okay - why are you in the hospital?

Stray bullet during the situation at the station...Haige and Parrish? I thought Parrish was with you kids over at Derek's. I mean...the man survived being burned alive, we can't keep him in the dark about this.

[He shakes his head, hands lifting like he can grab all this information and physically compartmentalize it.]

Wait, what? Parrish was burned alive? And he's - alive?

[With a rueful look, Al nods.] Last I heard, you were hoping Derek could tell him what the hell's going on. He's supernatural, and he has no idea what he is...but he survived being burned alive. All of it...nothing but the clothes on his back burned in that blaze, Scott. I tell you, it's...that thing you do with your eyes, it beats that all to hell as for the weirdest goddamn thing I've ever seen.

I can't believe he's like us. [A beat] Or...close, I guess. God, it sounds like so much has happened. Is going to happen. Is happening? [Oh he can feel the headache coming]

...yeah, still two seconds from paging your mother, Scott. [Al has a hard enough time figuring out how to supernatural, kiddo. Your generalized weirdness isn't helping. Don't make him come over there, young man...wherever 'there' is.]

It's weird time-travel-space stuff.

[Yes that will reassure him. Scott grimaces.] Everything's going to work out okay.

[He wants to ask a lot, but - he thinks he knows how damaging knowing what's coming could be.]
