Someone has been hunting witches for centuries. Mike wasn't surprised at all to hear someone else was after her but it was enough for him to take her seriously.

"Okay. Stay here." He moved her aside and sat her in the chair next to his desk. He left her there was he walked into the Sheriff's office and made his excuses for them to leave. It took only a few minutes and then he was out again and heading towards her.
