•CURRENT CANON POINT: Post 3b. After Lydia saw Aiden's body, I'm also including Derek teling her what Aiden asked him to tell her. For added angst. :)
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Lydia is short, 5'3", with strawberry-blonde hair and green eyes. She is always very well put together, with her hair done (usually in braids or in a half updo) and with impeccable makeup. She has been wearing Givenchy's Dahlia Noir (scent description on the link). Regardless of where she is now, she will keep dressing herself like she did back home: flawlessly. Lydia wears a lot of short dresses and skirts, along with shirts, leather jackets and more often than not, she'll be wearing ankle boots or something with a heel to add at least a few inches to her.
•DEMEANOR: For the masses, Lydia is your typical popular girl. From her canon point, she won't be trying as hard for the vapid as she did back home, but she will still put on a smile and pretend everything is great and perfect for as long as she can. She will talk to everyone and she will pay special attention to members of the opposite sex. Mostly out of habit than anything else. She is very proper and delicate but very much in control. She wants everyone to know she's in charge but she does it subtly, sweetly, so you don't even notice she's taking control of you.
•ABILITIES: On the human side, Lydia Martin is a genius. She can learn pretty much everything she reads and she will learn it fast.
As a Banshee, Lydia can attune her hearing to the supernatural. She can hear things no one else can. When there is an upcoming threat of death, Lydia will get warnings, usually in form of sounds. These warnings aren't always very clear, they can go from whispers to a sound that will be related to the death and, if in luck, Lydia will be able to figure out this warning fast enough to help stop the death from happening.
But upcoming death isn't all she can sense. She is also able to hear deaths that have happened in a certain place, especially very emotional events such as suicides.
For her, while she will have the overwhelming need to wail when someone dies, she can also use her banshee screams to shut down all of the normal world noises and be able to focus on the warnings being given to her. She can hear all other banshees, they whisper to each other and warn each other of dangers.
Lydia has also been known to be able to sense upcoming death of enemies at certain locations. Almost in a role of a Morrigan, before a battle between two powerful werewolf packs, she felt like she was standing in a graveyard and the side her pack was fighting for ended up winning the battle.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: While Lydia can get physically hurt and sick like any human, she isn't affected by the supernatural. At least when it comes to werewolves. She is immune both to werewolf bites and their touch that takes pain away. It is likely that she would also be immune to other supernatural creatures such as vampires.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door matches the interior, it's a dark shade of magenta. Since she moved cabins, she also has the entertainment room from her home, that used to be across the hall from her room. More info about her room/life as a neighbor here.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: She will pretend nothing offends her, but offending anyone from the pack (Scott and Stiles and most of all, Allison) will get under her skin. Also, questioning her ability to do something might get a reaction from her.
